Completed in December 2009, Hotel Collins operates with 80 guest rooms, meeting facility, guest lounge and restaurant within the Hobart central business district and close to Hobart's waterfront. Hotel Collins was the result of an approach by Stay Tasmania to developer, Sultan Holdings Pty Ltd after plans to develop the Hotel had been deferred.

Stay Tasmania worked closely with the developer to produce a highly rated accommodation product. The Hotel has traded very successfully enjoying high occupancies in both the corporate and leisure markets. The success of the property created much interest amongst accommodation providers leading to the sale of the business to the Mantra Group in May 2015.
